Caboolture Radio Club - ABOUT US

Tibby's Hut - Our new QTH

Tibby's Hut kindly donated to the club
by the Caboolture Scouts Group

The Caboolture Radio Club Inc caters for both amateur and CB radio enthusiasts and has two WIA accredited assessors and can arrange exams for the Foundation, Standard and Advanced Class licences.

Our Logo.
The club logo was derived from the fact that Caboolture means "Land of the Carpet Python" and in fact there are a lot of them around the area. Actually they are quite harmless to humans.

Meetings.
We meet every third Saturday of the month at 11:00am at the clubhouse for our social meeting where we have a few laughs, some occasional heated debates, and there is usually something yummy to nibble on as well!!

If you'd like to come along, someone will be monitoring the VK4RCC repeater on 146.625 from the clubhouse. So just call and someone will come to the gate and meet you.

You'll find at least one of us at the clubhouse on a Saturday morning as well. So you are welcome to pop in and say Hi!
